Refund policy

Because we stand behind our products, we want our customers to enjoy their linens as much as we do. To avoid having to return merchandise, you may request a fabric swatch and review our size chart before making your purchase. *Please note that our return address has changed, as below.

GUIDELINES & POLICIES

1. For hygienic reasons, we do not accept returns on items that have been washed or used. Items must remain in original packaging and condition to be considered for return.

2. For hygienic reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any duvets, down blankets, pillows, protectors, or featherbeds. These items are final sale.

3. The cost of shipping any items returned to Au Lit Fine Linens will be paid by the customer.

4. We do not offer refunds on custom orders, which include custom measurements, custom stitch colours and non-regular stock items.

5. Any shipping fees paid on the initial order will not be refunded.

6. All items discounted at 25% off or more are FINAL SALE.

7. Before making a return, please email at info@aulitfinelinens.com for return authorization

8. A 10% re-stocking fee will apply to any returned items that need to be pressed and/or repackaged

9. If we detect an unusually high return rate under any customer account, return eligibility may be limited or other limitations may apply (such as our original cost to ship being deducted from any returns/refunds)

IN STORE PURCHASES

We offer refunds on stock items within 14 days of purchase, and exchange or credit note within 30 days of purchase. After inspecting to ensure all items are in perfect condition, payment will be refunded or credited. A 10% re-stocking fee will be applied to all merchandise that has to be pressed and repackaged.

ONLINE PURCHASES

We offer returns-for-refund or online store credit within 14 days. Refunds may only be processed online. We ask that you request return authorization either by e-mail (info@aulitfinelinens.com) or by calling 1 800 363 6080 (Monday to Friday 10am-6pm.) Packages must be returned to the mailing address below. Initial shipping fees and all costs on returns are the customer's responsibility. International returns must be designated as merchandise return for refund on the customs paperwork, as we are unable to accept any returns with import fees owing.  After inspecting to ensure all items are in perfect condition, payment will be refunded. A 10% re-stocking fee will be applied to all merchandise that has to be pressed and repackaged. If you are located in Toronto, you may return the goods to the store and your refund will be processed online within 5 business days.  Please note that all orders are originally charged in CAD and will be refunded in CAD. We are not responsible for any fluctuations in the offered exchange rate by your issuing bank.

RETURN-TO-SENDER

Please note that if you provide the wrong shipping address, refuse delivery of your order, or fail to collect it from a pick-up point and it is subsequently returned-to-sender, both our initial cost to ship and the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund. For return-to-senders from the USA, please note that any additional carrier fees related to the parcel return (such as processing fees, brokerage fees, and/or unpaid duties and taxes) will be deducted from your refund as well. For return-to-senders resulting from carrier error, we will of course arrange refund or re-shipment upon receipt back. We are unable to proceed with a refund or replacement on any return-to-sender until it has been received back at our facility.

QUESTIONS & CONCERNS

We take great pride in the quality & craftsmanship of our products and are happy to review any questions or concerns about your order. While packing mistakes or flaws in craftsmanship are rare, we highly suggest unboxing and reviewing the items in your order within a few days of receipt to ensure all is in order. In the event you do have any concerns regarding your purchase, we simply ask that this be brought to our attention in a timely fashion so we have reasonable opportunity to review.
